Disco Duck

[edit]

i have a vinyl record "alley can and chicken fat: and album of fun dances with irwin the disco duck and the wibble wabble singers and orchestra" produced by the children's record lable peter pan, (c) 1977. "irwin" plays dj between non-disco songs like the beer barrel polka and mexican hat dance. perhaps the company wanted to capitalize on the "disco duck" thing with cheaply licensed songs? the back features a comic, part 3 of (?) showing irwin saving the disco patrons from rufus backslide, "last of the diehard hippies" who tries to blow the place up with plastic explosive love beads. irwin subdues rufus by singing "give peace a chance." he's drawn like donald duck, but there isnt a disney logo to be found on the whole album. i'm hard-pressed to find anyone who's heard of disco duck at all, let alone it's immitations and spin offs, but maybe its a short-lived fad worth including in this article. i wish i could include more, but i only have the one album, sans liner notes. it's my first time here, forgive if i botch signing this. <3, katie 68.78.26.171 16:52, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chart stats

[edit]

User:Doniago: Which of my four chart stat additions or refs do you claim are a "forum"? I do not understand your reason for reversion of all of them, and will restore them again unless you provide adequate justification for your objection. - JGabbard (talk) 19:45, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The ones that have the word "forum" in the URLs. Though I'd also question the reliability of the URLs that just point to IPs. DonIago (talk) 19:54, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
